I love owning my own home more than I’ve ever loved any purchase in my life. It’s great being able to make all the decisions for this place without answering to a landlord or a roommate and you know, there’s something to be said for being able to paint your kitchen orange and not having to ask anyone if it’s okay first! One thing I don’t love is having to pay all the utilities myself – that really adds up over time. I cancelled my cable and I went tohttp://www.texaselectricityproviders.com/ to compare electricity rates so that helped but it still is tough having the same amount of square footage and not enough money to cover it all at the end of the day! But it’s been great being a homeowner and I look forward to many more happy years to come here. One day I hope to have a husband move in so that he can help me with the bills but until then it’s the perfect bachelorette pad! That’s what I wanted.
